Our story is unique because of our passion and belief in a long-term vision. Through our stories, you will discover how coffee gives back to society. Contrary to the mass industry and the race to the bottom with severe consequences for our planet. Consumers are also part of the impact that we have on the environment. We try to raise awareness among consumers about the coffee that they drink through storytelling and video. With better information, people can make better decisions.
First part │A special coffee story │It started with a documentary movie in 2016
"Visiting Thailand, I met farmers, roasters and baristas and interviewed them, discovering their passion for coffee. " - Jordan Caillault.
This first story is the one that honors coffee lovers. It's for all the people that Jordan Caillault met and projected their passion for coffee production and coffee consumption. Coffee culture in Thailand is strong. One of the reasons is that they grow specialty coffee and also consume it domestically. A large number of coffee shops have their own coffee plantation. They know everything about farm to cup. Every year, they excel in competitions. Coffee in Thailand is booming and it's only the beginning...
The second story is dedicated to a team. A team of people that decided to bring their skills and their talent to make better sourcing and importation of coffees. They are working very hard each day with many other companies worldwide, in order to bring both coffee producers and roasters to excellence. By buying coffees at a higher price for a better quality of coffee and one that is ethical, they encourage people to make healthier coffees.
What are specialty coffees?
Belco is the leader in France in the specialty coffee industry. They are sourcing coffee and they also import them sustainably. Their coffee is highly respected and the quality control is strict to avoid defects in the coffee.
Here is the outline of the process of farm to cup:
No use of chemicals
Grow to preserve biodiversity
Support local communities by helping them to grow quality, to increase their profits
Bring more people together
Discover new tastes that are special
Nurture healthier coffee through roasting and brewing
Finally, don't drink too much caffeine and drink it wisely.

We support all coffee people that work with passion to promote their ideas worldwide.
By communicating through video storytelling about coffee we aim to help others understand how to make coffee better. Knowing where coffee comes from, meeting the farmers helps us to make better choices. There are many choices and it is a challenge to know what is good or bad, for us and the environment around us. Coffee can be both good and bad. What impact can we make if we make the right choice?
We believe in promoting good coffee, for the future of our planet. The decisions we make today continue to plant the seeds for the future.
Growing, roasting and brewing│Understanding the process more deeply
Our story is all about coffee and video
We now understand more how complex it is to grow quality coffee and we fully respect the efforts of all the people who are working for this. We continue to learn from first-hand experiences and we are passionate about sharing these stories with you.
Roasting coffee is our passion
One of the most interesting steps in the coffee process is roasting. It is here that coffee is transformed from a green bean to a beautiful and tasty brown bean.
Coffee makes people crazy
How many events about coffee are organised globally every year? It is a growing sector. It's crazy, fun and we learn a lot from the baristas involved.
Second part │New experience, towards independancy│French Coffee Production takes shape
I created FCP in order to make better communication among coffee people through videos.
French Coffee Production created Coffee For Better in order to better understand sustainability in the coffee chain. We believe that coffee presents a great opportunity for people to find their way and realise their dreams. For this reason, we encourage quality and traceability. Farmers that are willing to make better coffee and contribute to their community and the nature around them will be rewarded by better revenues. We also encourage exporters, logistic companies and importers who align with our values in order to create sustainable development where everybody along the chain can achieve a fair price using good, ethical practices.
Through storytelling in the form of videos and blog articles, you can understand more about our mission and activities.
Southeast Asia coffee exploration │Learn, understand and share
In 2019 we decided to travel through Southeast Asia. Firstly, we wanted to learn more about coffee, the people and their culture. Rapidly, we came to realise that we face many challenges in the coffee supply chain and we can do better for the economy, the environment, and the people whose lives are touched by coffee. We wanted to understand more deeply how the coffee world operates, particularly from the specialty coffee perspective. We travelled across Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar and India from January to April 2019. We learned so much about coffee and we planned how to share our stories. We created a series of videos about the coffee people we met and the places they are working in. This was just the beginning, we want to make a bigger and better impact to change the coffee world.
World of Coffee in Berlin
We attended a lecture in Berlin in order to share with the audience a case study that affected many coffee farmers in Uganda. We wanted to share and reflect on sustainability in coffee. This is the goal for Coffee for Better; using powerful storytelling to improve the lives of coffee people and protect the environment where they live.
